LONDON. February 25,
Prince Chun, brother of the Emperor, states that since China baa complied with all requirements, excepting as regards the indemnities, which have not yet been fixed, the Powers ought to evacuate Pekin, and enable the Court to return.
Sir Robert Hart, Director of- the Chinese Imperial Maritime Customs, has forwarded to the Foreign Ministers at Pekiu a strong protest against seizure by tlie representatives of Austria, France, Germany, and Italy; of the maritime customs at Pekin, which lie claims as virtually his own property. : .
