BOEES LOSE SIXTEEN

LONDON, February 25
Four hundred Boers on Saturday attacked Fish River Railway Station, 20 miles north ,of Cradock, in Central Cape Colony. The garrison, consisting of 40 men of the Lancaster Regiment and a few Cape Police, made a gallant defence until an armoured train arrived with assistance. The Boers lost sixteen killed and wounded.
