PROPOSED VISIT TO ROTORUA.

It is annouueed that the Duke and Duchess of Cornwall will call first at Auckland, then in turn at Wellington, Christchurch, and Dunedin. They will also probably go to Rotorua.
SYDNEY, this day
Mr Chamberlain has cabled to Lord Hopetonn that the time allowed in connection with tlie Duke of York's visit did not quite fall in with the. transit arrangements, and consequently the visits to Victoria and New South Wales will have to be curtailed one day each, and to New Zealand one or two days, to allow of arrival and departure on the dates arranged.
