MISS ALICE HOLLANDER.
A great deal of attention has been aroused by the flattering reports of the young- Sydney contralto that have been received from the South, where she has been making a very successful tour under the mafiagement of her master, Mr Bethune. Miss Hollander arrived in Auckland this morning to make arrangements for her concerts, the first of which will take place in the Opera House oa March 14th. The young singer is said to be the possessor 'of a magnificent voice of phenomenal range and power, and to be able to use it very artistically. The Dunedin "Star" says: "Her voice is phenomenal as to power, and of surprising richness." "The Otago "Times": "Miss Hollander deeply impressed her audience with the rare qualities of her voice, her .inherent artistic taste, and the singularly perfect method of vocalisation she lias attained."
