1 (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) 1 CHRISTCHURCH, Wednesday. 1 Memorial services were held, at the
I Cathedral in the afternoon and even« !ing, and were attended by very large congregations. In the ordinary ChurcU Service in the prayer for the Sovereign the words "Most Gracious Sovereign i Lord King Albert Edward" were subi stituted for the former words. In the sprayer for the Royal Family the words I "Albert Edward,' Prince of Wales" S? were omitted and "Our Gracious Queen I Alexandra, George Duke of York, and I the Duchess of York" substituted. I Special prayers were also offered up. s
