FIRE AT TE AROHA.
(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.)
TE AROHA, this day,
A fire broke out in McKee's grocery shop last night and completely gutted the premises. But for splendid work by the fire brigade the fire would have resulted in the destruction of the whole block on the west side of Whit-aker-street. With the help of a good water pressure the brigade confined the fire to McKee's shop. The "News" office was slightly damaged. The insurance is in the United, viz., £ 200 on the building anjj stock.
