THAMES, this day.
In the Magistrate's Court this morning- John Granville. was charged with riding a bicycle on the footpath at Parawai. Defendant stated that he had written permission from the Thames County Council, but Magistrate Bush stated the County Council had.no power to grant such permission. He convicted and discharged defendant.
Mr McGowan, Minister of Mines, arrived this morning from Te Aroha.. He proceeds this afternoon to Waihi.
