The resumption of pumping by the Thames Drainage Hoard created a better feeling lor Thames stocks this morning. May Queens sold at 'Jjd, with buyers left at 9(1. Other Thames stocks asked for were Kuramii-CaJe-douians B.UI, May Queen Extendeds Sd, Alburnias 3d, Whaus 2d, and Tararu Creeks 4d. Enquiry was made to-day for Chelmsfords at 3/6, but no sales resulted. In Waihi stocks Extendeds sold at 4/9 and 4/10, and Souths at 1/4. Other cheap lines were asked for at late rales. Standard stocks had demand at last week's quotations.
