A meeting of the committee of. the Waltato Gun Club was held at Frankton on i-hursday night, when a challenge waa re--:■-■!red f;cm the Northern Club tAuekiaid) for toe silver cup now held by the "Waikato Club. It was decided to accept the challenge, and the secretary was instructed to notify the association the date on which 7 m wf. «*«*• As a number of members are unable to obtain the necessary leave of absence, it was resolved not to send a team to compete for the Amberite Cup at Auckand on February 2nd.
