Messrs Thompson Bros, and Co. report prices of fruit, etc., as follows:—Apples, coloured dessert, 6/ to 10/; large cookers, 6/ to 7/6; apricots, large and prime, 9/ to 12/; peaches, 5/ to 10/; cherry.plums, large red, 4/6 to 5/9; Orlean dessert, 5/6 to 6/; Burbank, 4/ to 5/; nectarines, 6/." to 7/6; tomatoes, 9/ to 10/; gooseberries, 3/ to 5/ per J-case; grapes, 1/ to 1/6 per lb; potatoes, kidneys, 7/ to 8/ cwt; eggs, lOd dozen. The market for all classes is firm.
