GOVERNOR O'BRIEN AND THE MISSIONARY.

Advices received from Fiji by the Rev Dr. Brown, secretary of the Wesleyan Mission, state that Governor O'Brien has accepted the Rev. Mr Slade's disclaimer of the charges of exercising undue political influence in the federation movement made against, him. Governor O'Brien has also withdrawn his request for the removal oi the missioner named.
