Alleged Intent to WonntL—Annie Willie was charged that on January 2nd, 1901, she did wound one Mary Ann Dixon, at Hobsonville. with intent to do grievous bodily harm. "Dr. Laishlcy, who appeared for the accused, submitted that this was a charge which might well be dealt with summarily. Kvideuee was given to the effect that accused while in a state of drunkenness hit Dixon ou the bead with a bottle, inflicting injuries which necessitated Dixon's removal to the hospital. Accused was committed to the Supreme Court for sentence, bail being allowed.
