Wind: Moderate to strong from between south-east and south and west at all places.. .
Barometer rise everywhere.
Sea: Heavy on eastern coast between East Cape and Kaikoura, easterly swell thence southward. Tides: Generally good.
Colder weather is to be expected in all parts of the country. Warning signals for southerly gale are exhibited at Cape Campbell.
