On Friday evening last the local lodge of. Druids were favoured with a visit from the District Grand Secretary, Bro. J. Mackay, of Wellington, and the District Grand V.1.,> Bro. J. Rubery, of Ponsonby. There was a' good attendance of members. Visitors from Paeroa and Waikino were also present-The.' D.G.S. addressed the members of the lodge and gave them much valuable informs.-1 tion, after which the lodge went into harmony. The following toasts were received, with enthusiasm: "The Queen and Druids,"; "The District Grand Lodge Officers," ''Kinrtred Societies," "The Visiting ■Brothers' from Paeroa and Waikino," "The Pride of Waihi Lodge."
