WELLINGTON RACING CLUB

WELLINGTON, this day.
The Wellington Racing Club have decided that the Summer Meeting be extended over three days, the fixtures being set down for the 22nd, 24th and 26th January. The Wellington Cup is to be 65050v5., less lOOsovs. and 50sovs. for the second and third horses. The principal race on the third day will be the Port Nicholson Handicap of SOOsovs. It was decided in future that stakes be paid in full instead" of a deduction of 5 per cent. At the Spring Meeting two hurdle races are substituted for the two-year-old events which figured on last year's programme.
