Auckland lias old Issue sold at £13 12/6 today cm the Exchange, and were still wanted at £13 10/, while £10 7/6 was offered for newissue. Insurance stocks had steady demand at late rates, and National Banks were inquired for at 61/6, Sharland's Drug shares were firmer, being- wanted at 14/6, while N.Z. Drug had demand at 51/. In coal shares there were buyers of Westports at 68/ and Hikiirangi at 7/6. Union Oil shares were asked for at 19/6 but holders wanted 21/. Mining stocks were dull with no noteworthy change in values.
