THE WAIHORA'S CARGO.
The cargo by the s.s. Waihora, which will be released from quarantine on Sunday next, was fumigated to-day, and the vessel will berth at'the wharf to discharge, on Monday next. Her cargo was slowed in Sydney on battens in order that the fumes might more easily penetrate among the packages, and accordingly it will not be necessary to have to discharge it info lighters, and he, again fumigated, as« was done with the cargo by the Mararoa on her last trip. The Tomoana's cargo was also fumigated to-day, so that there need be no delay in her discharge. .
An office has been fitted up.on the wfharf for Mr Webster, Government? fumigating officer. The office contains all the articles required for the fumigation of vessels, iucludjng sup* plies of sulphur, and formalin, a powerful fumigating agent.
