RESUMPTIONS TO COST £3.000,000.

SYDNEY, May 3
Mr Lyne has stated that, including the approaches to the new wharves, the resumption by the Government will cost about £3.000,000. He did not intend to stop there. He meant to deal with other places which could not be cleaned. Portions of the city were a disgrace to the people, and he would not have such a condition of affairs.
The following' fresh cases have been reported:—William Walters,
Aunaudale; Matthew Growther, O'Connell-strect; Lilian Conyers, Bedfern (thi.s properly belongs 10 yesterday, making 11 for the day,! which is a record), Harry Hill, Marriekvijle, Kate Henderson, Paddington; Andrew Burg-land, Surry Hills.
The following1 deaths have occurred:—.Mrs Whitehead and Alary llogan, Stockdale; Buller, Tennyson.
A proclamation has been issued deterring the resumption of Darling Harbour. The occupiers have beeu given 90 days to clear out.

Two fresh cases of plague are reported—Julia Breeu, Surrey Hills; Charles Mackenzie, Paddingto'n. The quarantine extended to the suburban area, and Redfern is proclaimed infected.
