The result, of the inquiry into the accident to the -transport Manchester Port is that no blame is attachable to anyone for the alleged tampering with thje : rope The court did not. think it was .maliciously cut. though it-bears slight cuts in two or three places, probably made by a careless person exitting tobacco while the rope was coiled on the forecastle. The transport has sailed for Sydney, where she will be docked. No arrangement has yet been made for the despatch of the

DUNEDIN, Thursday
The Organising Committee has received intimation from the Government that the Ormazan will reach Port Chalmers within a week or ten days. Space will be provided for 240 horses, 200 being supplied b\- the Dunedin committee, and 40 by Southland.
