THE WAIHI RAILWAY.
Complaints having been made that work on Paeroa-Waihi railway was not being gone on with the engineer in charge was asked for a report. This has now been received. It is as
follows:—"Railway Waihi work started sixth March with thirty men in five parties beside eight others at casual work. Some £ 500 spent end last month.—Chas. R. Vickerman."
