AKARANA RIFLE CLUB.
Last Saturday afternoon competitions were held for two medals, one for A class shots, presented by Mr J. &. .bucnanan, and one for "B" class shots, presented by Mr Adams. The conditions for the "A" class medal are: "To be won twice in succession or three times at intervals, ranges 300, 600, and TOO yar dSj 5 shots at each range." Mr Doughty won the first, competition .vitli 63 points. Mr E. Buchanan bejng second with 62 points, and Mr B. w. Cox third, 59 points. The conditions for the "B" class medal were: ranges 200 and 500 yards, 7 shots at each range; to be won outright, handicap match."
