Sir, —Your correspondent, "Mystified " takes me to task for some words evidently omitted in my letter of Saturday, in reply to a letter headed, "The Jews and the War," which certainly was calculated to foster religious prejudices, and implied that while the war was in the interests of the Jews, they were not doing their share. My purpose in writing a reply was merely to show that this statement was not consistent with facts, and that the Jews yield to none in devotion and loyalty to our beloved Queen and the British Empire, indeed, the Jews all over the world entertain the same feelings.—l am, etc.,
