DEVONPORT CLUB. The. semi-final and final of the championship were played, and produced interesting games. The final between Messrs H. Niccol and R. Eagleton was keenly watched by a lot of spectators, and was ultimately won by Mr Niccol, after a very stub- j bom contest. Results: — j Championship (semi-final): Eagle- j ton, 24, v. Eyre, 17.
