S.M. COURT.—YESTERDAY.

Alexander Boyle v. Alfred Buckland and Sons, claim £111 14/5, balance of account between the parties. —Mr Brookfielcl appeared for plain--1 tiff and Mr T. Cotter for defendants. A counter claim of £103 IS/ was lodged by defendants, this being- the 1 amount paid by them to the Assets Realisation Hoard for rent due by plaintiff, who had requested this on November 20 last. Defendants paid into Court £7 1(3/5, the difference between claim and counter claim. Plaintiff alleged that he bad rescinded the authority given defendants on November 24 last. The question was whether the defendants had any right to pay the money over. His Worship did not think' that plaintiff had any right to revoke Hie authority, and gave judgment for defendant for amount of the counter clah.:. Costs amounting to £(j 16/ wei'e allowed.
