At the patriotic concert held on Friday night last at Pirongin Public Hall, Alexandra, Waikato, the following troopers in the No. 2 Waikato Mounted Infantry were presented with prizes won in a.recent shooting competition at the local butts, viz., Vol, Steel, silver cup, presented by Mr Harlcer, jeweller, Hamilton; Trooper W. Sing, pair of stirrups; and Trooper Claude Grace, pair of spurs. The two latter prizes were given by Lieut. Hudson and Mr 11. Chappell, saddler, respectively.—(Own Correspondent.. Pirongia..)
