WAIHI GRAND JUNCTION.

The Waihi Grand Junction Company are pushing ahead with operations at their west '"C" shaft. The old site has been stripped of all its working gear, and the sheds and boiler, etc., have been removed to the new shaft, which is situated on the left side of the main road just above the bridge leading into the town and Brown's sawmill. This shaft has already been sunk to adepth of 55 feet by means of a windlass, and 3000 tons of firewood is to be delivered at the mine shortly.
