POLICE COURT.
At the Police Court this morning, before. Messrs .'). Callnau and Morning, J.P.s, Emma Ski veil ton. charged with drunkenness, was convicted and discharged on payment of 12/6 costs;* Mary Erown was fined 10/ or 4S ■ hours; and a first offender 5/ or"21 hours for drunkenness. Jas. MeConnell pleaded guilty to being found' drunk, and being an old offender wa? fined £2, in default .14 days 'hard labour. To a charge of disturbing1 the Gaiety Company's entertainment at the City Hull McConnell pleaded not guilty. "If I hadn't been drunk." he said, "I wouldn't have been.there." The Bench took a lenient view of ri» case, and discharged him with a caution. John McGregor and Thoinafe| Duekett were each lined-5/ and costs for leaving their hand-carts in Lower-Queen-street so as to obstruct the . carriage way. George Millard Walker and Eliza Walker were remanded to llawera, the former on a charge of breaking- and entering- the dwelling of Louisa I). Welsh and" stealing f"1"----niture and wearing apparel, and the .■ latter on a charge "of receiving stolen property, V>aU was allowed in two sureties of £!>5 each.
