ONEHUNGA DREDGING.
Sir Maurice O'Eorke has received from the Minister of Public Works the following tc-kgram:— "The dredging flotilla from Westport will leave, weather permitting, this week. It has taken some time to prepare for the work, or dredging would1 have been started before now-" Dr. Erson. .Mayor of Onehung-a, rereived a telegram this morning to siitii--, lar effect, so that the very necessary work of dredging near the wharf is certain to be shortly started.
