LUNCHEON AT THE CAMP.
After the church parade Cai.tain A. W. Myers . and Mr 11. T. G«rrie, hon. treasurers of the Bough Riders Fund, entertained the Governor, Ministers, committee and officers of the contingent to luncheon. There were present Lord Banfurly and Captain Alexander (private secretary). Lord Beauchamp and Captain Wilfred Smith (private secretary), the Premier and Mrs Seddon, the Hon. J. G. Ward, the Hon. J. Carroll, Colonel Pole-Penton, Lieut-Colonel Banks, the Bey. W. E. Gillam, Major White, Lieut-Colonel Dawson, Captain Holgate, Captain Major, Captain Abbott, Lieut. Walker, Lieut. Thomson, Rabbi Goldstein, Messrs Jas. Kirker, J. H. Upton, R. R. Hunt, It. Warnoek. A. Robinson '(Howick), and Captain Myers and Mr 11. T. Gorrie.
Yesterday morning the contingent presented Captain Major with a pair of field glasses and Serget-Major Evans with a silver-mounted ease in recognition of their services in the camp. Captain Abbott made the presentation, referring to the interest taken by the recipients in the welfare of the men. Quartermaster-Sergeant Gorrie was presented with a leather dressing case. Cheers were given for the recipients.
