Premier outlined the • Government policy; They.proposed to wind up,til session as early as possible, and.-"pre-pare for the Federal session. Tilt? intended to cai'ry out the financial proposals of their predecessors, and would proceed with a number of Bill* before, both Houses. The-.autumn session would be chiefly devoted'to dividing the. colony into Federal electorates. A Bill would be introd-ced to give women votes. The Government would take immediate steps' to provide for the aged poor, pending the ■introiduction of an Old Age Pensions Bill They would also introduce .legislate dealing ; with habitual drunkards.
