Denmark has offered America her West Indian' possessions for £600.000;
The Danish possessions in the-West Indies consist of the following titee islands in the Virgin Group: — St. Thomas, area 33 square miles; Santa Cruz (or St. Croix), 74 square miles;: and St. John,. 21 square inH.S.. .TJlc total population is about 34,000. -" : ; -;- r'-f.'fl
