WAIEKAURI KING.
The manager reports the winze is now down 52 feet, and the reef shows a nice body of quartz 15 inches wide, which gives good and very ecicoil.raging prospects in the dish. A good tail of gold wa.s got in every dish tried. The. country is just' changing from oxidised to the pyritous, and the reef appears to lie oil top of the latter, being at present very flat.
