SHAREMARKET.
Waihi shares advanced to buyers £10 to-day on the Exchange, but no selling- price was quoted. From the 25th of October to the 23rd of November the buying price of these, shares advanced from £8 5/ to £10. Waihi Grand Junctions during- the siime period advanced from 21/ to 29/, buyers offering- the latter figure to-day, making a rise of 2/ this week. Talismans maintained yesterday's advance, and buyers came in for Waitekauris at 39/,"but holders asked 45/. Barrier Reefs were quoted buyers G/C, but privately higher rates have been offered. In'cheaper lines sales were reported of Woodstocks and Bunker's Hills each at- 1/, New Whaus at Sd, and Imperials at 3d. Inquiry set in to-day for Knrunui Caledonians at 1/1, and the same price was offered for Alpha shares. Oliinemuri Syndicates had demand at 1/9. May Queens at, 4/G, and Fotir-in-Hands at 4/5. In standard lines National Banks still had inquiry at 56/, and South British Insurance, at 55/, while buyers of Devonport Ferry ' advanced to 3S/ without transactions resulting.
