PAEROA, this day. At the Paeroa Police Court to-day, before Mr Colclough, Justice of the Peace, Dr. Forbes pleaded guilty to riding on the footpath and Was fined 5/.
Mr McAndrews' new sawmill, situated at the junction of Paeroa, commenced • work yesterday, the machinery going, smoothly and well. The mill will prove of great benefit to Paeroa, employing- a number of hands. The building- is most- conveniently situated, and the plant is thoroiighriy, up-to-date.
