CHURCH MEETING.
A meeting1 of the parishioners of St. Peter's Church, Hamilton, was held on Tuesday evening, when the Veiv. Arch. Willis presided. It was decided to fix the stipend of the new vicar at £200 per annum as from the first January next. It was also decided to improve the old vicarage as far as. possible, and to arrange for the erection of a new vicarage. At a meeting of the vestry held subsequently \' v was unanimously agreed to request the Primate to appoint the Hew D. A. Major M.A., to the position.
