THE GEORGIA MAGNET,
In directing attention to the attractions which the "Graphic" offers this week to the public we would make mention of the interesting article entitled "Would you like to be a Georgia Magnet?" The performances of Miss Abbott in this city have given rise to so much discussion on the question whether her feats are the resalt of a special and extraordinary force or not that any contribution throwing light on the subject at this time will certainly be welcomed. The article explains how the same feats as the "Georgia Magnet" performed can be accomplished by ordinary individuals. The same issue contains a series of lovely pictures of Whangaroa, the most beautiful perhaps of all New Zealand harbours, a fine full page engraving entitled "Fairy," very; suitable for framing, photogravures of the recent golf championship tournament, and a selection of miscellameous illustrations. In the ladies pages wil be found an illustrated article on coiffures with the latest fashions in bonnets, blouses and travelling dreisses. The fiction department contains the opening chapters of a new serial by the popular writer Mary Ange:la Dickens, and there are three short tales. The social news and miscellaneous reading matter is as full axid interesting as usual.
