The business man of to-day recognises the value of this art, as it naturally enters largely into his daily life. "The first essential is brevity; the second, comprehensiveness; the third, absolute accuracy. Perhaps our readers may be interested in a sample letter (which we herewith attactt) from the ex-Mayor of Brisbane, B. a. Babbidge, Esq., which incorporates all the qualities necessary for guidance, and indicates clearly how much thought and fact can be conveyed m a few words. "I have been asked by some of my friends if I have ever taken. Warners Safe Cure. I replied: 'I have, and have found it a most excellent medicine for general debility, and for toning up the constitution, and I have^always recommended it for the same.'" v
