CORRESPONDENCE.
NIGHT EEFUGE.
(To the Editor.)
Sir,—l observe the Charitable Aid Board had the matter of providing a night refuge under consideration at a late meeting. I hope the matter will not be lost sight of. It is an admitted want In this and, indeed, all cities, where there are always poor and aged people coming into the town. We have to record several deaths in our streets and park. Surely there should be some place where a man can get a bed and a meal. Was not Edward Costley's money left for such purposes.—l am, etc.,
P. A. PHILIPS,
