THE SOUDAN.
THE VOULET SENSATION.
PARIS, September 2,
Captain Voulet (who shot Colonel Klobb and Lieut. Mennier when they were about to arrest him on a charge of brutality) in January last decapitated 20 women and children. After the men's refusal to act as guides to his force he fired villages and shot auxiliaries for trivial offences. Captain Chanoine similarly killed natives and exhibited their heads on poles.
