THE OPERA HOUSE.
THE AFRO-AMERICAN: MINSTRELS.
The Opera House was again well patronized on Saturday evening, when Mr M. B: Curtis' coloured minstrels repeated their novel and amusing Entertainment with great success.. ;. Tonight there Avill be a complete change of programme, and everything presented will be entirely new. The plan^ tation sketch "Uncle Eph's Return," is a true representation of American negro life in the early sixties, and when played by coloured artists this should be intensely interesting. All the old favourites will appear in hew items, and there will be several first appearances. -The .concluding- farce "Le Duel" de Voirville" is said to be
excruciatingly funny. It is the desire of the - management to cater for the ladies, and fhis programme is specially arranged for their benefit without sacrificing any of its powers of appealing to the other sex.
