MEETING OF CREDITORS
A meeting of creditors of M. Copeland, merchant, recently of Fort-street, was called for this morning to consider bankrupt's application for discharge. Nine creditors were present. The bankrupt, who is now travelling for a local firm, was not present, but he was represented by Mr W. M. "Neumegen, solicitor. The supervisor, Mr A. J. Entrican, raised an objection to the absence of two missing leaves in or.c. of the bankrupt's books,, and eventually the meeting- was adjourned for one week to enable the missing aceountto be made up. Mr E. B. Dufaur presided. A meeting of creditors of M. McSheffrey, contractor, of . Kuaotunu, called for this afternoon t6 consider the bankrupt's application for discharge, lapsed for want of a quorum. Only Mr Mennie put in an appearance.
