May Queen Extended.—The ' Hague Smith reef continues to look very promising.. The quartz carries the best kinds of minerals together with strong colours of gold. From the appearance of the reef the manager expects picked stone at any time. Broken Hill (WaiomO).—-Ore of a superior quantity tb any yet seen in tl_m mine was obtained when breaking down on Friday. The country is charged with the best class of minerals. ■
