HARBOUR BOARD.
The Works and Tariif Committee of the Auckland Harbour Board met yesterday afternoon. There were present Messrs W. J. Napier (Chairman), M. Niccol, J. H. Witheford, Heather, Gunson, and Stichbury. The princin-1 matter considered was a complaint by the Devonport Ferry Company as to the unsatisfactory arrangement with regard to the Chelsea wharf.lt was decided to ask the Colonial Sugar Company to restore the landing' stage to make temporary arrangements to enable the ferry steamers to call regularly ut the wharf. The Committee also decided to view the wharf.
