250 PERSONS DROWNED.
NEW YORK, July C. Appalling floods have occurred in the Texas Valley on the Brazos River. Five hundred miles length and fifty tniles width cf country has been devastated and transformed into a wilderness. Two hundred and fifty persons have teen drowned. The losses of farmers are estimated at 10,000,000 dollars.
