COIIOMANDEL, this day. Messrs Andrew and Gunn. who are working this mine on tribute, have just completed their third crushing for the very satisfactory return of C1.1:.\ The parcel treated consisted of halt a ion of selected ore and ten pounds of specimen, which yielded 4-!oz 13 dwls of retorted gold, valued at £1.12. The total yield from this tribute is
7(io/. lOdwtx, worth about. £2:20, which is highly satisfactory for seven months' work. There is still a quantity of general ore on hand, which will be treated when the roads improve.
