An inquiry was held yesterday into charges against hospftal nurses of neglecting patients. Counsel appeared on both sides. After hearing evidence the trustees decided that there had been some slight laxity, but It was not sufficiently serious to take cognisance of. DUNEDIN, this day. At the Police Court to-day William Sinclair, lawyer, of Tapanui, was fined 50/ and costs for using threatening language to Constable Melville, whom he accused of being an informer, referring to recent sly grog cases there, and also using bad language.
