THE DREYFUS CASE.
PARIS, July 4.
Dreyfus told his wife during their interview that while suffering from fever on the Devil's Island in September, IS9G, he was handcuffed and chained in bed. This continued for two months, his gaolers hoping to cause his death, but he was resolved to live. Owing to the many letters sent him being withheld for six months,, he imagined he was forsaken.
