WELLINGTON, this day.
A deputation from the Law Society waited on .the Premier and asked him to take charge of the Bill drawn up for the incorporation of the legal profession of the colon}-. This, they said, would enable betf»r discipline to be exercised over its members than could now be done by voluntary law societies, and was wanted by the profession.. Mr Seddon promised to look carefully through the Bill and see whether the Government could undertake to adopt it.
