THE GAIETY COMPANY.
At the Gaiety Company's entertainment at the City Hall last night the programme met with much success. "The French Conductor" created roars of laughter, and the jokes and songs of the corner men—Messrs., Edwards and Faning—kept the audience ■in a continuous state of merriment. Mr J. F. Robertson, who possesses a sweet tenor voice, sang1 "Maid of Athens" very nicely, and responded to an emphatic encore. All the other members of the company did well. To-night amongst other varieties will be. the Royal Cinematograph, by which a number of comic living pictures will be shown. A new sketch, "The Telephone," will be given as well as other new items. The Gaiety Company appears every night' this week.
