THE DUKE OF BUCKINGHAM FIRE.
Latest advices regarding the lire on the steamer Duke of Buckingham near Goode Island state that the crew succeeded m "ettin" the lire under before serious damage was done, though it is expected a general average will have to be iixed. Hie vessel intended resuming her voyage to London last week. The cargo by the vessel includes about 1400 tons of frozen meat.
